Welcome to the brand new site for Seigfreid Academy llc!  We are proud to announce our new partnership with Puptown Indy Inc. of Fishers!  We will now be offering Board n' Train, Daycare training sessions, as well as group classes on the north side of Indianapolis in addition to our regular offerings at our west side location.  

A little about Seigfreid Academy

    We offer exclusively force free positive reinforcement based training in a wide range of doggy disciplines.  Our philosophy on training is to work toward communication and understanding, that way when things come up you haven't trained for you and your companion are ready for whatever life throws at you. 

    For most families our group training classes will meet you and your canine companion's needs for communication and socialization.  To that end we are proud to offer an expanded version of the Association of Pet Dog Trainer's (APDT) Canine Life and Social Skills (C.L.A.S.S.) curriculum. C.L.A.S.S., through its evaluation, curriculum, and training resources, advocates the use of reward-based training. Positive, reward-based training minimizes the use of punishment and is fun for you and your dog! C.L.A.S.S. promotes relationship-based training, training in which the communication is two-way and the mutual trust is strong.  More information about APDT C.L.A.S.S. can be found at www.mydoghasclass.com.  For those looking for a faster paced, behavior intensive training course we also offer our signature Comprehensive Canine Communication Course (CCC).  Our CCC puppy and beginner classes are 8 weeks of concept based training designed to build strong lines of communication allowing you and your dog to adapt your training to whatever life throws at you.  

    We also offer Group Leash Walking classes in public locations around the Indianapolis area where you and your (non-aggressive) dog work together in the real world to achieve real results.  Group leash walking classes consist of all skill levels and topics covered range from basic loose leash walking to heel and multiple dog heel on a loose lead. 

    Not all dogs are appropriate to group class though.  Whether for social, schedule, or behavior issues we offer a wide range of private training offerings.  You can contact Rob for private training for you or your group here.  Our private offerings can be tailored to whatever you and your dog/schedule require.  From in office private classes, in-office private group classes, to in-home private one on one and in-home group our private class offerings can meet any need you have.  Rob has been successfully helping dogs and their owners for years with a wide range of behavioral issues.  Whether your dog is aggressive, afraid, shy, obnoxious, destructive, an escape artist, or just incredibly stubborn our scientific force-free methods make major problems manageable while giving you and your dog the tools to build a healthy, successful relationship.     Check out the links below.
